BEACH - (GOLDEN VALLEY COUNTY) - Beach Youth Prayer Walk on Wednesday, April 30th will begin at 6:00 PM until approximately 8:00 PM. Students will gather at the Beach Evangelical Church for supper. Then they will break into small groups with a leader and will hang NDP Doorhangers with the 2008 Prayer for the Nation on homes. They will also receive prayer requests from homeowners. BEACH - (GOLDEN VALLEY COUNTY) - The Beach National Day of Prayer will be called to prayer by the church bells at 8:00 AM. Participants are asked to gather at the Golden Valley Courthouse (150 1st Ave.) The mayor will read the Mayor's Proclamation and then participants will walk to 4 area churches. Prayers will be led by several pastors of the community and prayer requests from the Youth Prayer Walk will be prayed for. A Bible Reading Marathon will also be taking place at the courthouse. MINOT - (WARD COUNTY) "Magic City Prayer Rally"" This prayer rally from 12:05 PM to 12:55 PM at the Ward County Courthouse (315-3rd St. SE) is designed so that individuals can attend during their lunch break. Pastors will lead the audience in seven points of prayer: Family, Church, Education, Business, Media, Government & Military. The Jim Hill Flag Team, under the direction of Patrice Mitchell, will perform their "It's a Grand Old Flag" drill with the National Anthem and flags from all 50 states of the U.S.A. Franklin Huwe will give a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Steve Geller will sing "In God We Still Trust".
